If cleaning the pump filter doesn't clear the OE error, the pump or its wiring is usually at fault. That's a same-visit repair — our vans carry drain pumps for the common LG front-load and top-load models.
OE means the washer couldn't drain within about 10 minutes. Start by cleaning the drain pump filter behind the small door at the bottom front. If the code returns, the drain pump itself is the usual suspect.

The washer pauses when it can't drain — usually a clogged filter, a jammed or dead drain pump, or a kinked hose. If two cleanings don't fix it, it's time for a technician.
